New theme… and new posts coming soon!

After neglecting this blog for way too long I’m back! Sorry to those of you that have this in your readers and have been disappointed at the lack of updates (or not as the case may be)! Do you like the new theme? I’ve gone for something a lot brighter and happier than the old one which was looking a bit , well crap if I’m honest! Just in the process of sorting it out, so if you are reading this now (Tues 18th sept about 20 past midnight, UK time) then you’ll notice a lovely pair of legs top left… they’ll be the first thing to go!
While I have been neglecting this blog recently, I haven’t been (that) lazy - for a change! I’ve been learning php and trying to get my life organised with the help of Getting Things Done - an amazing book, I recommend it to anyone and everyone. I’ve got posts lined up on my experiences with both learning to code and GTD - they should be on here before the end of the year!

The two column approach is confusing on your main page…I wasnt sure which was the latest post for me to read. I see that it starts on the let column and then continues again on the right column…..I think its a bit too busy, but design tastes vary…so who cares what I think
Plus, you may be having service hiccups but I experienced a 29 second loading time for this page…the text showed up fine by it was almost 30 seconds before the comment box and all your widgets loaded……just some observations…
otherwise, way to go buddy! Looking good!

Think I’ve sorted the loading delay - it seems the Amazon preview thingy was doing it.
Know what your saying about the design too… I’m working on it!
New layout looks swank, rad and fantastic! Better navigation as well comapared to your previos theme! However, have you thought about pushing recent comments and rss more?

Cheers! I’ll be killing the 2nd column on the front page to make way for recent posts and comments. Thanks for reminding me about RSS - I forgot a button wasn’t built into this theme.. will get on the case with that!
