Copeac - An Affiliate Network That Cares?

Do the networks care about their affiliates?

It seems to be the same across the board - the bigger a company is the less valuable each of it’s individual customers or affiliates are.

If you are new to the game or you spread things out a lot and don’t heavily promote a particular network then you might’ve noticed that the big affiliate networks don’t have much time for you. You have to be doing above a certain volume - making them enough money - to get an affiliate manager. When the little guys need to get in touch with someone they have to make do with a general affiliate-support email address (or even worse just an online contact form) and often have to wait up a couple of days for a reply.

Some networks do…

Fortunately, you don’t have to deal with these faceless corporations if you don’t want to. If you prefer a more personal touch there are numerous smaller networks around. I’ve heard good reports about a few other networks but this post is focussing on one I’ve just started using and so far am very impressed with, Copeac.

Copeac’s programs are cost-per-action (CPA) - you are paid when a user completes an action for the advertiser. Generally this is either making a purchase or submitting information - providing the advertiser with a sales lead to follow up (known as cost-per-lead - CPL) . They provide very competitive offers in popular niches, including dating, ring tones, loans and credit repair amongst others. Some of their advertisers are big names such as Jamster, while other advertisers work exclusively with Copeac - you won’t find them anywhere else.

High payouts.

I can’t reveal exact details of payouts here, you’ll have to sign up for free to check them out, but as a rough guide here’s some examples of payouts:

Their programs are paying up to $9 (£4.50) EPC (earnings-per-click), averaging about $2-$3 (£1-£1.50). This is the total earnings from a program divided by the total number of clicks - generally an accurate guide to how well a program is performing.

Their offers also include health products, art, horoscopes and education along with some Clickbank-like get rich quick schemes - personally I’ll be staying away from them! For full details sign up for free and browse through their campaigns.

Great reputation.

If you’ve ever visited the WickedFire forum then I’m sure you’ll have noticed the attitude there towards people promoting get-rich-quick ebooks. Despite Copeac having a few programs like that, the opinion of them - from new and experienced marketers alike - is nothing but positive:

“Congratulations Man, COPEAC is the Best Affiliate Network in the World, and Daniel ROCKS!” kduru2000

“Copeac is awesome! Payment is always on time, and just a great network to work with!” csflmuc

“I’ve been incredibly happy with Copeac since I’ve started with them. My questions are always answered promptly, and I can contact Dani any time. I recently requested an offer that they didn’t have, and that offer was up and live within 2 days. Dani even sent me an email to let me know. You can’t ask for more than that.” stoxup

“Great company - just drop them a PM here or on AIM for quick responses if you have any questions or encounter any problems. I found the interface a little clunky to use at first but I’ve gotten used to it. Good payouts.” jened

“Copeac is the best network I’ve ever used. They carry good programs, they are extremely friendly, and most importantly they actually CARE about the affiliate.. I would recommend Copeac to anyone.” pjleonhardt

Q: What do you feel are the best ad networks? A: “In terms of reputation around wickedfire, definately azoogle and copeac.” Andrew - WF Admin and author of the respected WebPublishingBlog.com

The thing that really sets Copeac apart from other networks is the service they give to affiliates, you can contact your AM via instant messenger and usually get a very fast response. They really are friendly and helpful. In fact they are so helpful that Mike Krongel - the President/Founder of Copeac - recently ran a Q & A session, offering excellent advice to new and experienced affiliates alike.

I strongly recommend you read the whole thread, but here’s a sample:

Q: What exactly does an account manager do for affiliates? What are they responsible for?
A: Your AM should help you decide on offers, give you ideas to promote those offers, and any help you need to make money. They can also become good friends that you share a lot of good conversation with

Q: What would you do/who would you talk to about matching up offers with your current customer/prospect base?
A: … You should put yourself in the shoes of your users. If you have a site about Yoga mats, then you should be looking for the latest health crazes, diets, workout equipment, etc

Q: I read above you said that direct linking hasn’t worked for you, can you explain the reason it doesn’t work?
A: Most of the time direct linking doesn’t work because one static design does not work for everything, a lot of advertisers may design their page with email in mind and provide little to no information to the consumer, because email is impulsive, where search people are looking for more information so if the buy or sign up form doesn’t have enough info direct linking might force them to go back to the search results to find more information on the search itself before buying.

Q: Hello, What can I do to make more money with affiliate marketing? That’s my question. Any tips?
A: Read wicked fire, test, optimize and test again. If you want specific ideas PM me with what you have done so far and what you know how to do and i will try to help out.

That’s just a sample, I really recommend reading the whole thread.

Cons.

As you can probably see my opinion of Copeac is very positive. These guys are really good to work with! In fairness though, there are some negatives:

Pros.

Conclusion.

It doesn’t hurt to sign up with any affiliate network, at least to check out the programs available. So I’d certainly recommend that you at least sign up for free with Copeac and have a look.

Copeac have shown to me that they really care about their affiliates. They have a reputation for paying on time and they offer some excellent programs. If you are looking to promote CPA programs in any niche and want great offers and exceptional service then I recommend you join Copeac.

Affiliate links.

I’m sure you’ll have noticed, I’ve used affiliate links in this post - I’m not hiding that. As I mentioned above Copeac pay you 2% of the commission earned by people you refer. It costs the person referred nothing. If you join Copeac using my affiliate link then they will pay me only if you make money. I can understand you suspecting this review might be just to get sign-ups regardless of the quality of their service, but I wouldn’t do that. Firstly, if they are crap and you don’t make any money then neither do I. Secondly - and more importantly - I will not promote crap. I don’t like being lied to and misled, so I won’t do it to others.
